Chip Name: CHESS + CHIPS #1

Irwin made this personal chip because

"This was my first personal made.
I first came to LV on my first Honeymoon in 1956 and started coming back on Junkets 2-3 x's a year starting in the early 60's.
I also went on one to Bonaire, Curacao & Aruba.
Although I collected other things I never thought about collecting chips.
In 1980 my sons gave me 2 night/3 day trip to AC. There were only 2 Casinos -we stayed at Resorts.
When I came home I found 2 $1 chips in my pocket. Upon examination I saw that they were different.
Soon after I found that some guy-Archie Black was forming a casino collecting club-I joined and am member #130.
I have been to all of the conventions except #18( I broke my leg in May of that year and could not travel).
The name'Chess & Chips' represents my other hobby-I collect chess sets.
I have about 530 chess sets on display im my home."
