I'm buying a laptop this weekend. Was going back and forth, but this was well written. It put me over the top. I'm going to save the extra $1000 and then just upgrade in a couple of years. A Windows machine it is.

Now the question is which brand? For me Acer, Gateway, and "low end" manufactuers are out. Maybe Dell. HP and Samsung seem to give alot of bang for the buck.
