Without question Windows is the operating system of the world. Most new software is for Windows and Apple users need to wait. But, I've had both and Mac's are just so simple and easy to use. I just bought a loaded HP Windows 7 PC from Staples for $400, you can't do that for a Mac. Everything from Apple is costly. But what no on has mentioned, is that the Mac OSx will run Windows applications for the most part. So, you can have your cake and eat it too. You can't go wrong with a with Windows 7 PC, but it's not as easy to use as a Mac. Let your budget be your guide.
