people taking out nice chips & replacing them with crappy chips (both in value & condition). When I first found this BB, there was always at least one "shotgun" or one Round Robin going on. That, unfortunately, was ruined by a few people. I guess the lesson learned was to have these round robins between people that you know and/or trust -- or just stop having them.

Sounds like a similar fate has fallen upon the "Pay it forward" box...too bad, really, as taking more & returning less goes directly against the "pay it forward" concept with which the box was originally established.
