They pay their pensioners their pension & insurance PLUS since they MAKE money on their fund they pay out a BONUS of up to $800.00 a year. (I know this because my mother in law is receiving benefits due to her late husband's work --33 yrs he worked for them). They funded it properly and LEFT it alone to grow, as Social Security was SUPPOSED to be as well.

So NO it isn't a handout, due to you paying into it. I don't know why we are helping other countries when our homeless and elderly and others need help here. (Look up how much money we give to Israel in cash and loan guarantees..it it over $2B a year alone...)
