.... get to Georgia for a family reunion. We are driving to the Georgia coast next week and need some gas money. So regrettably we're selling some chips from our own collection to get there. While we hate the idea of having to part with chips we love owning, we'd rather create memories for our daughter than own chips that we only pull out of the safe a few times a year.
So we've got some chips up on that end on Sunday that need a good, loving home like they are used to.
Chips like this Caesars error chip that has four sets of inserts instead of the regular three sets. It books for $200-$249 and was started at just $4.99:
How about this oversized 50mm chip that was used both at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and Caesars Tahoe up north. It books for $150-$174:
I hate parting with this one... it's an arodie Cal Neva Biltmore chip from Tahoe. It books for $300-$349 and we started it at just face value:
I might miss this one the most. It's not the most valuable but I always thought it was one of the nicest looking Bud Jones LE's ever released:
Speaking of the Four Queens I was given a prototype set years and years ago. I was told only a few sets existed. Here's the $1000 but there's also the $1, $5, $100 and $500 up for auction as well:
Here's one that Debbie is most upset about no longer having. It's a Christy & Jones chip from the Silver Slipper. It books for $200-$249 but right now it's bid is only at like $8 or so. Debbie has threatened me with sleeping on the couch for life if it ends up selling for this low. So do me a huge favor and pump this one up a bit . It's a beauty...
There's about 70 other chips out of our collection up as well and there are 40+ items from the Bob Stupak estate up too. Anyway, we need a good week and a few dollars in our PayPal account for our vacation so if you get a chance take a look, place a bid and give some of our chips a new home. We hate parting with them, but in these "challenging-economic" times it must be done.
Finding our auctions is as easy as typing http://www.StartsAtFace.com into your browser or just click the link below the $100 Sahara plaque (which is up for auction this week as well) below.
Thanks for looking,
Dave and Debbie
