Hello all,

My name is Michael and I have just entered this wonderful scene of "chipping" I bought my first chip for chipping purposes last week. I've been doing as much reading as possible these past few days and picking up bits and pieces as I go. I'm sure like everyone here, I started by simply collecting a $1 chip from every casino I've ever played in, even if i go to the casino more than once, i'll pick up another chip. This seems like such a cool thing to me I just kinda dove in on E-bay. One of things I keep reading over and over again is to choose what I want to focus my collection on. Of course I did not see that when I first started bidding! so I have purchased about 7-8 chips now only the latter purchases fit the theme i'm considering... At least to start I think I want to focus on $1000 denomination chips and other high denomination chips. But then I go back to thinking oh man there are so many other cool chips out there I don't want to corner myself! This is such a hard question to ponder! I've been lurking for a bit and reading through some older posts, I'm sure I'm going to have a ton of questions for you folks if you don't mind. Of course I'll do my best to not bombard you with dumb newbie questions! (No promises though! haha)
