The piece came out of The Caro Collection-Paris a few years back; probably the reason for the mounting holes (there should be an International law against that ).

Anyway, I'd like to trade it for a nice nacre plaque or sell it for about $250.

The piece isn't perfectly flat; having a very slight twist, but still a beautiful piece in otherwise excellent condition.

I'd love to see the piece returned to Spain, and I'm willing to accommodate.

I wouldn't attempt messing with it because of the laminated inlay (might pop).
