Once I hit 1000 feedbacks in both my ebay names, I'm going to broadcast it on this board so people can say "Congrats!" or "Well done" or "way to go!" some other phrase to stroke my ego.

Yes, it's very important to accumulate positive feedback. It is so important I usually check my feedback once or twice a year to see if I've been negged.
