there are many times when I want to browse new publications or get advise, brick and morter IMO are best for this. That is why many small bookstores are doing well (customer service). I buy amazon when I know exactly what I want and am sure they are not offering softbound as hardbound. There is still a place for both. It's like buying a chip in person vs the internet. I feel most still prefer to see what they are buying.
