I put my nicer chips in Danscos, most of my other chips in plastic flips in pocket plastic pages in 3 ring binders. I do accumulate chips in 100 chip boxes, too.

I catalogue (Collectors Assistant) a chip as I get it if I intend to keep it. I try to scan the chip then, too -- always scanning for my focus collections or better chips. The more common chips that I will sell or trade, I just stockpile somewhere.
