I have been trying to improve my sons memorial project.
It is obvious I am failing.
I take at face publications and screw them up.
I long ago gave up collecting and tried to devote my time to a promise I made.
I am sorry and appolizes {sp} to all who have taken offense.
My health has deterioated since my the passing of my wife but have endevored to fulfill a promise to my late son.
I have never claimed to be a research adict, know it all about any subject, and as my wife use to say only a part of me is smart, and I can not see that part of my body.
To the vast majority of those I have had the pleasure to meet on this board I wish you God's speed. To those few who have have found great fault in my attemt, I also wish you the same.
As my father use to say 'Do your best and let the devil take the hindemost' I have tried.
I air no dirty laundy in public, I try to put no person down. So I come from a different generation and will be more than happy to leave the cares and whoes to the future.
In closing I would like to thank those who saw fit to recognize my son with the spread in both the club magazine and the convention program. He would be proud of his father for following through on a promise.
