Seems others deem these items to be either generic, Mexican, midwest or the like.

Well, since I mentioned generics, Mexico and Chicago, can I assume that your post was referring to my posts?

Later on you made the following, most complimentary, comment:

It sort of sounds like each individual works on the thought 'I have made up my mind, don't confuse me with facts'.

Let's start with the Florida Palm chips or those that I referred to as POSSIBLY genrics out of Chicago.

Here is my exact reply to you:

The only info I have is that they were sold by H.C. Evans out of Chicago. I believe they are generics, although I haven't seen them pictured in an HC Evans catalog.
Maybe someone that has old HC Catalogs (1926-1930) could check.

The only part of the above statement averred to be fact was that the chips were sold by HC Evans a national chip distributor out of Chicago. Did I confuse you with this fact?? Although it is clear that the chips have proven to be generics (which doesn't mean that any one club may not have used them), I never stated that to be fact. It was my opinion - O P I N I O N that the chips could be generics (only a possibility).

Next we have the case of the chip with the graphic of a Keno Goose.

Again, here is my exact response:
Unknown. Wouldn't surprise me if it was for a Baja joint. Keno was quite popular in Mexico.

The only part of the above statement averred to be fact was that the chips are unknown. Did I confuse you with this fact?? Now i did give an O P I N I O N that the chip MAY have been used in Mexico. In my collection, I have 3 chips that were delivered to a U.S. distributor (El Paso, TX) that were actually used across the Rio Grande in Juarez, Mexico. Two of the 3 chips were strictly KENO chips (the graphic actually said "KENO"). Mexico was known to have had many KENO joints. The Keno Goose chip was delivered to a chip distributor in San Diego, not a club (again, a fact). Tijuana, Mexico is less than 20 miles away. With the FACTS as stated, I proposed the possibility (not fact) that the final destination of the Keno Goose may have been Mexico. You may disagree, but at least I give it some thought when I attribute a chip.

Lastly, in another post you state:
I apolgize to any and all that have taken offense to my post.

The old non-apology apology.

Talk about no good deed goes unpunished. Don't worry. Lesson learned.
