I have a plastic jar, like the ones used to sell Jelly Belly's at COSTCO, and I toss bad chips into it. By "bad" chips, I am talking about cracked and broken, or those with extreme wear, but nothing is of significance. I can't bring myself to tossing them away, nor would I foist them on to someone else. But for perspective here, we are talking about 30 or chips.
In the past I have seen James Campiglia start a Take What You Want Round Robin, where his box of cast offs was sent on a tour for collectors to take what they wanted.
What tends to populate my jar the most are chips from non-collector friends that brought me chips from faraway casinos and then poor conditioned chips I sometimes get from the various "Send a Good Chip To the Winner" contests, i.e., 33-Pool, No-Hitter Pool, Indy Pool, Soccer Pool, etc.
