Frank, Hard to tell from the side picture. If the edge is slightly concave, that is a result of above normal heat. Which would support the fading theory. I have placed a couple worthless chips in a dash compartment of my vehicle just to see what heat would do after a couple years. Both chips formed a concave edge and one actually warped while being on a flat surface. More food for thought....Doug
