this year, and we had a great time .

He was super patient as I roamed the floor, and even enjoyed himself when we were looking for the table where we had seen the yellow lion C&S Chip. (though when we found that we had seen it as Rich Hanover's table, it had already been sold ). A few members were super nice to him, giving him either personal chips or a chip or two to get him started on his own collection. He finally decided that he liked casino lighters the best, and we picked him up a set from the Stardust.

We did lots of other things while we were there: walking downtown Vegas and seeing some of the restored neon casino signs; visiting the 'Pawn Stars' pawn shop; seeing the water shows at Bellagio; and of course, tasting the 16 different world-wide beverage samples at the Coke store . Perhaps the best experience of the trip was when we got back to the room at about 12:30 one night, and then ended up talking until 4:00 in the morning about absolutely nothing in particular. You don't always get that much conversation out of a teenager .

In any case, we're both plannig on coming next year!
