Chip Name: HALLOWEEN 2008

Rick made the "HALLOWEEN 2008" personal chip because
"I enjoyed Halloween chips and enjoy graphically pleasing chips.
Those graphically pleasing chips can be old or new as long as they look pretty cool,
and the Halloween chips appealed to me because they were dated and had cool artwork.

I have been an antiques and collectibles dealer for years and wanted to come up with something
that would appeal to collectors of Halloween related tems outside of the club.
I decided I wanted to make a Halloween chip because members were making pretty cool ones,
and many casinos were no longer coming out with new ideas.

I came up with the concept and script and a friend named Karin Knowlton did the artwork.
I had decided on a witch and a black cat and we worked out the design.
Never made another chip only because Karin decided that her art was now going to have a hefty price attached.

I have stopped collecting Halloween chips simply because there are only a couple of casinos that are putting out nice ones.
The idea of collecting Halloween items is for the "fright" factor...you know...monsters,ghosts,witches etc.
Now we have chips with scantily clad women in a mask...not my idea of Halloween."
