did you see online a couple months ago hundreds of current NFL players, both rookies and vets were applying for loans? I understand the rookies, with the lock out they are unable to sign their contracts and even get their signing bonuses, plus they were (most of them ) unpaid college players- but the veterans? Gimme a break
