The Vast majority of our members who harvest chips (Right or wrong thats a different argument), do so for the purpose of collecting.

They are not doing it for the reasons that the casinos dont want you to take the chips. I seriously doubt any of those chips would ever be reintroduced to a tournament or roulette game which is the biggest fear of the casinos.

I am not saying it is right to take the chips in the first place, but I am saying those that take them do not have criminal intent when they do so.

You are also right that the is more concerned about the missing chipos than the South Point. But there is a reason for that.

Its kind of like making a promise to a friend and then breaking that promise. I remember when I vouched for a friend to get him hired and he turned out to be a lousy employee. I felt terrible for vouching for him.

We made a promise to the South Point and broke that promise. That is why the club feels responsible for the actions of one (or more) of its members.
