I don't consider myself to be "holier than thou". I don't BS myself either.

The CCGTCC taking a pass on the issue is another matter entirely. This is directly out of the Club's Code of Ethics:

To base all of my dealings on the highest plane of justice, fairness and morality.
Neither to buy nor sell any material of which the ownership is questionable.

Also:

To abide by all local, state and federal laws and to assist in the prosecution of those who may violate such laws and regulations.

Maybe it is just me, or the times we live in. I cannot see how harvesting for club members could possibly be acceptable under these conditions. If we are not going to use the Code to guide us thru the difficult issues, then why have a Code at all?

Like I said previously. I "harvested" once. It felt like stealing to me. I never did it again. That is me. But I think the credibility of the Club is taking a MAJOR hit by turning a blind eye here.
