LOL... Too funny! We are talking value chips right? I work in the industry and run 2 good sized cage operations. I guess we are going to start having people arrested for taking their winnings to their rooms, buffet, etc... Casinos are not worried about their value chips, there are many that encourage the taking home the chips and hoping they will never return (i.e. Hard Rock, Four Queens etc). A good profit center.

Value Chips are a completely different story than Roulette and Tournament chips. Many casinos need to account for any missing tournament chips, because a chip reintroduced at a later tournament can sway the outcome, pretty much the same with Roulette, the chips could be reintroduced at a higher value.
