I keep thinking it was two 5K chips. Who in their right mind would take a 5K chip and bust out when you can make a come back with a 5K chip. Makes no sense, which is why I came to the conclusion it may not have been anyone from the final 2 tables but possibly someone during the last break who stopped by the empty table and helped themselves to a couple in the rack. Or how fast were the chips put away from the final hand? Did they sit out a few minutes while people were taking pictures etc or did the dealer immediately take the chips and rack them up? I wasn't paying attention at that point to details.

When I went out in 6th place I believe the pot was approximately 75K and that would have been enough at the time to put me in 2nd or 3rd position. So I do not believe it would have been a player like myself who would have rather taken 2 5K chips and not have gone all in with them trying to take over the lead.
