I agree with what Terry's thought are. Problem is the poker room manager thought he was doing us all a favor and giving us a bonus by bringing his best set of chips out. He was proud of the set and wanted to share it with us. He wasn't thinking along the same lines.

I also never thought bringing this up would get so far. I only wanted to say how much I like the South Point and I do not believe for the $49/night you can get convention space in a modern hotel/casino and modern rooms anywhere in Vegas. Just wanted to make sure we are welcome in the future and that a manger at a management meeting doesn't have a reason to bad mouth our organization. All I wanted to get across. Although I was never at a convention for the CC>CC at the Riv I was there for two other meetings/conventions. Attended a bridge tournament and a chess tournament. The rooms are sub-par and their buffet is absolutely terrible. Wasn't even worth the free pass I had each day. The casino is depressing.
