Ran across over 20 Carib chips I needed at the Convention. Some are variations of those I had, but all are new to me. I include South American chips in my collection as Charles has included those on his web site.
The Diamond 2.50's from Sint Maarten are different shades of brown and one has a sharper image (reorder?).
The Casino Buenos Aires 2.50's are different fonts.
JP is from Jaragua Casino in Dominican Republic ($1 marked on other side).
I have an extra of the Aruba 20 chip.
I have an extra of the CB $5 chip, red with 3 split edge inserts.
The Aruba Sheraton $1 in H&C mold compares to the same design in EWING mold that I had.
The Puerto Rico Sheraton red hot-stamp SMKEY compares to the same chip with a No Cash Value stamp around the rim that I already had.
The Hyatt Puerto Rico with the overstamp is a new color for me for the chip and inserts.
The Hollywood Casino chip with brown inserts was new to me; I only had the one with green.
The portrait chip from Rouge et Noir is a similar but new chip with different edge spots and different rim.
The Hyatt Regency Aruba is a different plastic mold than the one I had. Note the difference in size for the white bars and the dollar sign.
I now have an extra notched purple Dorado Puerto Rico dollar chip to sell or trade.
Also have an extra of the Radisson Aruba $1 "Poker" chip for sale or trade.
Peter Nathan reports that all the different Princess Casino chips can be found scattered through the casinos of that chain throughout the Caribbean and S. America.
