An old $2.50 chip from the Convention

I got this old Triangle-mold 2.50 at the Convention last week. It's attributed to the Franklin Hotel in Deadwood in the 1940's. Steve Brock has an article on the CCGTCC web site about this old club, and about Jack Phillips (Presumably the JP on the chip). The article is apparently from an early Club magazine, pages 48-49.

This has to be one of the oldest snappers around. Possibly the Riverside in Reno had one earlier as it opened in 1927. James lists a gold LGCRWN 2.50 from the first issue Riverside chips and indicates it is Unique. Has anyone seen the gold Riverside? Can you post a scan?
