I lost a dog last November and he was very close. I took it really hard. It is hard to lose part of the family and it will take time to deal with it.

The good thing is that when I got over the grief I went out and found another dog... A German Short Haired Pointer named Ranger that I got as a rescue from the humane society. Talk about a smart, fun and loving dog and boy he can run! He really hates baths. I have never had a GSP before, but I now love the breed.

Remember the good times, just don't dwell on the end times.
