Below are some pictures I took at the convention.
Andy - Las Vegas
Jay Sands still looking dazed from his golf cart mishap. As you can see his right leg is banged up & he is in an air cast.
Steve Bedo announcing the Greg Susong Memorial Award.
Carol Susong speaking to the banquet crowd right after the Greg Susong Memorial Award presentation.
Banquet speaker Jim Marsh. Jim owns numerous properties here in Nevada, including the Skyline in Henderson. He also owns a couple car dealerships here in southern Nevada.
Steve "Screwy Louie" Passalacqua. I was stuck $550 in our late night $1-$2 blinds No Limit Hold'em game at the South Point. Steve got me on my way to being a $100 winner when my flopped set of 8's beat his Ace's!
Hard working Convention Chairman Dave Harber. Along with his lovely wife, Debbie they put on a fantastic show.
2012 Convention Chairman, Jim Kruse. Along with his wife Debi, we are in good hands for next year.
Doug Saito & Sunday Silverman. Doug wants to play me pool & we will be betting chips. So I invited him over to the house to play & sometime in the near future my chip collection will have a lot of new chips added to it.
Brian Cashman, Jay Sands & Steve Passalacgua in front of the Benny Binion statue at the South Point.
One of the nicest people in the hobby, Allan Myers. Allan, along with Michael Knapp & Ernie Wheelden are the gentleman who first started publishing The Chip Rack way back in 1993.
David Spragg setting up for the show. If he does not quit making octagons in his basement, then most of us octagon collectors will be broke in a few years!
Looks like Gene Trimble is getting ready to fight someone here. All I told him to do was SMILE!
Everyone busy setting up on Wednesday afternoon.
