... and what a fun time was had by all! Great to catch up with old friends and meet some new folks as well. Blazing hot outside, so all the more reason to stay inside and buy/sell/trade, throw the dice, have a couple cold ones, etc.
I really like the South Point - the rooms are nice and large, clean and new... the elevators are quick and efficient (not that remarkable - until you stay in a place where you end up waiting 10-15 minutes every time you have to ride the elevator)... there's free wi-fi in the lobby and restaurants... a brand new Steak 'N Shake (thanks for lunch Allan!)... Seattle's Best Coffee in the lobby... all in all a fine location - I hope many other members agree.
I brought home about 75-80 new chips for my collection - will process these and post some scans later on.
Let me echo Charles Kaplan's comment in his post below - if you haven't been to the convention, or haven't attended for awhile, you should start making plans now to be at the next one!
