just read this thread of posts to your post. $2.50 is not out of line to charge for postage. I just recently mailed several packages of chips. My PO charged $1.71 or more, none was cheaper than $1.71 even though several had only 1 chip. lost money on those that only had a $1 chip in it. I do not buy mailers in bulk, mine cost .40-.50 cents each. so I lost about .20 cents on each single $1 shipped.
