Was watching a Twins at Giants game the other night, and our announcers Bert and Dick got into a discussion over who they thought were the greatest baseball players of all time. Not one mention of the Bambino. IMO, by far the greatest to ever step onto the diamond. Not only could the guy hit a ton, he was also an excellent pitcher. He turned the Yankees into what they still are.
