I've been reading the email trail with interest, and it did seem that the guy you have been emailing has been put up to this - when he faxed his passport I figured no real scam artist would do that? At least not with his own passport anyway.

But now I'm curious - in my time I have come across a couple of fake UK banknotes. Always took them to the bank, especially once where the bank supplied my company with fake £50 notes and we then had trouble trying to give them back. But I wonder if fake notes have a value to collectors? I'm also not sure if it would be legal (in the UK anyway) to trade them or if there is some law that says they have to be given up.

Just curious...If I came across one these days I'd probably post here whatever I ended up doing with it.
