I did a google image search to see what the originals looked like and it looks like the serial numbers are in gold/yellow and the letter is the same size as the number. I also noticed that the photo you have it says "Series On 1934" and the original ones say "Series Of 1934". I found it interesting to say the least. I hope that most banknote collectors know about these notes.
