originally a $100.00 chip with a gold hot-stamp, but was re-stamped with the $1.00 Token, most likely because they didn't need the larger denominations during the 1940s when these chips were first issued as much as they needed $1.00 chips.
As for being my last post for a while, I think it's time to give the poor chipboard a rest from my obsession.
Besides, I have just so many chips compelling enough to put together these "Sets of the Day" with, and after posting over a hundred "Sets" so far, I didn't want to put up less interesting chips, or start repeating too many "Sets" that were previously posted, as I have already done with a few of the "Sets" I find more appealing.
Maybe I'll do it again, later on down the road. Hope you've enjoyed them!
