Re: #9

Hi Michael,
The H.N.O. stands for the name of the "junket" business. For years (since 1994), I have tried to find the name........but have had no luck. All my contacts at the Sands are long gone.(dead) Since these were junkets during the late 60's early 70's trying to find the information is almost impossible. I can tell you this. Agents in the Chicago office would get information sheet for junkets to Vegas, the Bahamas as well as Reno. The name of the company was on the sheet. I have gone through all my paper files in old boxes in the garage and have found nothing.I have called some of my retired Agent friends who remember the information sheets but cannot remember the name of the business. The business was located on the north side of Chicago. Many of the chartered flights left Chicago on Wednesday morning and returned Saturday afternoon. Many of the Agents went on the junkets but I never took one. upon their return they would tell me about how the played the do and don't pass lines for craps. Sorry, that's all I got. However, I am positive these H.N.O. chips are junket chips.
Jim
