"undervalued" through what -- years of research? You noted "I listed a hole chip and got an offer of $100 - the chip lists @ $700? but because it is "holded" someone has made an arbitary judgement of the value! This is plain wrong!" Have you given much thought to the possibility that the "someone" that made an "arbitrary judgement of value" might be you? The knowledgeable & experienced collectors know that a damaged (or cancelled) chip -- whether unique or rare -- is worth only a fraction of what an undamaged (or uncancelled) chip is worth. It's not plain wrong, it's a fact (as proven by the offer that you received).
