I think it's the same with any collectible , coins , stamps ,chips , cars and bottles .Mint is mint the rest should be valued on condition and rareity .A holed chip is not worth what a mint one is but a holed rare chip is worth more than a holed common chip .I've been collecting bottles for 40+ years. several rare bottles that have been broken and glued back together have been sold for a couple of thousand but the same bottle mint have sold for 35K to 87K .A rare California Clubhouse Whiskey (2 Known in green) have traded hands for 60k a repaired one that has some epoxy filler and a new neck hasn't had an offer over $500.00 .
