to Steve Piccolo's Bicentennial site that features a picture of the Golden Gate chip-- plus it's a great reference to all things Bicentennial:

Ironically, I don't believe Steve would even include the Thunderbird $5 on his Bicentennial pages-- he generally only includes those that specifically mention Bicentennial and/or 1776/1976 (and so does not include other chips that many consider as Bicentennial, such as the Landmark $2, Hacienda $5, Gold Dust $5, etc.). That's not to say that if someone gave me a Thunderbird $5 I wouldn't display it with my Bicentennial collection .
In terms of looks, my favorite Bicentennial chips have to be the Golden Gate $5, Union Plaza $5, and Landmark $2, though I certainly wouldn't balk at a Gary's $2 . I also really like the Holiday Reno tokens listed on Page 2 of Steve's site. Ironically the current Club Auction features the $5 token from this set (Lot 91), though it is not specifically identified as a Bicentennial (though with Washington Crossing the Delaware pictured on one side, it leaves little doubt of the reason why it was produced, especially since it was released with the silver $25 and the gold $100).
