for sale rare CAESAR'S PALACE poker chip,$100 Rev Auct

Now that I have your attention, here is the story. Some years back some business people tried to put together some deluxe 500-chip poker sets for Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. The sets were to be impressive like Franklin Mint's Aces and Eights set. One idea was to present the sets to high rollers. Caesar's was interested in the idea. They approached Marion & Co to make the inlaid chips on their Elephant and Crown mold, from official artwork supplied by Caesars. When it looked like the sets would cost well over $500 each to make, the project was dropped.

The head of Marion gave me the one chip pictured below (both sides shown) to sell. Other than two or three chips in his personal collection, the chip offered here is the only other chip he is aware of from that aborted project.

I have no idea what the chip is worth. I offer it here for $100 to the first person to make a post claiming it. I'll treat this as a "reverse auction." I'll keep lowering the price every few days till it sells. (I see in the 2009 Chip Rack that two "prototype" "poker" chips are listed, valued at L* (no market [because no sales] ; $75 to $99) on the Fleur-de-lis mold. Poker chips like these? The ones offered here are on the Elephant and Crown mold.)
