Just a guess here -- the 2800 attendees probably refers to the cumulative "gate" for all 3 days.
If you attend on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, it would count as 3 entrances.
Also, remember that we get non-member walk-ins too, especially from locals on Saturday when entrance is free.
