Anyone else notice they've pretty much doubled from a week or two ago?

Just went on hotels.com...just about every room that was $40 last week is $80 this week.

Unlike airfare, usually hotel prices stay the same or go DOWN, as you get closer to the departure date.

Does this mean Las Vegas hotel room occupancies are up now, and hotels can get higher room rates?
