I do enjoy all of your posts, it makes the hobby FUN, keep it up

I had heard this story for many years and in 2001 I took the bottom pictures to show what I had heard.
The street is HWY 50. Under the A in the bottom picture is the California Nevada state line at South Shore Lake Tahoe. The Stateline Country Club is behind the entertainment marquee on both bottom pictures.

I could only find my photo copies. My original pictures are clearer than these photo copies.
