In Response To: Come See Me.... ()

I wanted to let everyone know....for those "inquiring minds", the screen shot shown in the flier is of my personal collection. The database program does not come preloaded with book values. No TCR values, no Riverboat priceguide values, no Atlantic City priceguide values, no Washington State chip values, etc. It never has, and it never will. There are no book values listed in any of the categories. That, my friends, is for the owner of the chips (or silver strikes, etc) to enter.

The layout of the screenshot is also a touch different then the "out of the box" database. Some of the fields have been moved a bit, and "tweaked" by me for my own preferences. One of the beautiful things about this program is the unlimited ability the user has to have the fields anywhere they want. You can add fields, delete them, move them, make them bigger, smaller, etc. It is completely customizable. If you think there are too many informational fields on the screen, just remove them.

Speaking of too many fields.....many people like a simpler, less cluttered look. There is a simplified screen format used for the "netbook" format because there is less screen "realestate". Smaller screen size means you have less room for fileds if you want to maintain decent scan sizes. You would just move extrainious fields to one of the other provided tabs. Again...pleae feel free to come by for a full demo. It's much easier to understand when you see it.

As for the "inventory book" page shown in the flier.....that as well is a page from my own collection. The program does not have the ability to make a printout of the reference section. You an only print your collections, or any collection of items you call a collection. This could be a printed page "want list" as well, assuming you make it as a "collection".

Anyway....I hope everyone feels welcome to come by the table as see for themselves everything that the program has to offer. Or...doesn't offer as the case may be. vbg

Of course email questions are always welcome.
