...sorry. We tried that a couple of years ago & had PayPal basically tell the club that "If you try that again, we'll close your account."

There are no tickets sent or presented. The club keeps a spreadsheet of tickets bought by number & prints them with the name & number before the convention starts. Those tickets are thrown into a drum or other vestibule to have names drawn. If you purchase a raffle ticket(s) and want to know what number(s) you have, ask & we'll tell you.

As far as how many raffle drawings will be held...that is yet to be determined. Donations & ticket sales are down substantially from two years ago when we picked 15 raffle winners. We want to make sure that the winners are amply rewarded for their support while trying to make sure that there are enough winners. This decision would then obviously determine the value of what is won.

Current raffle donations (which turn into raffle winnings ) include chips, tokens, dice, slot cards, room keys, matches, playing cards, stirrers, plaques, key chains, bungees, gift certificates...some pretty cool items. Currently, the club has over 1500 items that are included in the raffle stash. I will take & post pictures this weekend.
