Southwest weighed my carry on last year and it was right at 39#. Volume is the other problem that I have - there is a biger volume of chips than volume in the carry-on. I also have to be careful because since Cindy isn't going I may need room somewhere for whatever I buy this year. That does not sound like a problem until you realize that I normally bring home 600 chips that I picked up convention week. Cindy and I used to split them between us in our "personal" carry on item. Now I have to find a place to hide them.
