Why people should collect chips: People should if they like doing it.

Why should people join CC>CC: If you think the chip collecting community is important to your enjoyment, then join the org that has the mission of furthering the chip collecting community. At a minimum, you increase the substance of the hobby. At the maximum, you will make good friends, find good trading partners and deal makers, learn more about chips and the hobby, and deepen your enjoyment with the time you spend collecting.

Either way, pretty good deal for the modest dues, I think....
