I also collect license plates, and love the hobby too. However, I love to go to casinos and play Texas Hold'em. Then a couple years ago I decided it would be pretty cool to start collecting these chips since I visit different casinos on occasion.
I've been relatively new as well (going on my 2nd year), so for me - as you pointed out.. I just love the magazine! Those stories of the past casino history is simply amazing!

People need to be asked if they are curious about the history of old casinos, how they came about, etc. That could lead them into this hobby perhaps?
