Yes, Gene is correct -- coin aligned. It is hard to describe in words, but if you look at any current U.S. coin and look at how the front and back align up, you see what "coin alignment" is. The Borlands are the same way. Most chips (the old ones anyway) seem random on the fronts and backs.
