It's hard to say which one I'd recommend...depends on your budget and needs.
If what you want is to see the craters on the moon a standard pair of Binoculars will suffice.
But it's been my personal experience that bigger is almost always better when it comes to star-gazing.
Personally I would go for an 11inch, no smaller, if the price can suit your budget.
I say that only because I had one and liked it very much but wanted an even bigger lens when I had it.
If I had the spare coins I'd go for a 14inch.
That's as big a telescope as I would want to handle and still be able to move it around without ending up in traction!
But even an 8 inch can open the skies to some wonderful viewing!
