Willie Mays was always my favorite player. Met him twice - once at Kennedy airport in New York City when I was about ten years old, and the other time was up in Cooperstown, NY about seven years ago at Baseball's Hall of Fame. Willie is a gentleman in every sense of the word... and can still crush your hand with his handshake grip!!
