The primary purpose of the book is to provide as complete a listing of all known Nevada chips as is possible, and to sufficiently describe them so that anyone can identify what they have.
Consequently, much of our editing comprises corrections and clarifications to listings which may have been incorrect or misleading for many years. This aspect of our work is almost certainly going to be a permanent work in progress as there are so may chips that we are never going to see in our hands (although David is making a good effort there!)
An ongoing part of that editing is to gradually reduce all the inconsistencies in descriptions, and to fill in the blanks on chips we havnt seen before.
